Membership in the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Executive Development Association is available to any certified and retired members of a Wisconsin law enforcement agency who have graduated from ONE of the following Law Enforcement Executive Development courses:
1. Criminal Justice Executive Development Institute (EDI)
3. Northwestern University School of Police Staff & Command
5. University of Wisconsin Certified Public Managers Program (CPM)
6. IACP Leadership in Police Organiztions (LPO)
7. Any other certified Executive Development Institute pertaining to the management of Law Enforcement THAT IS APPROVED by the Board of Directors.
Membership costs $25/ year.
Members are encouraged to attend the annual Board of Directors meeting held during the annual training conference. At that meeting, the Board will elect new members to fill any vacancies on the board. The Board of Directors schedules and plans the conference for the following year and maintains records of all organization history. Being an active member of the board is a great way to network with other professionals and other jurisdictions around the state of Wisconsin. Get involved!
