As a member of WLEEDA you'll join a group of law enforcement peers to offer valuable leadership training and networking opportunities. Your membership also adds to your growing list of professional associations.
Membership in the WLEEDA is available to any certified and retired members of a Wisconsin law enforcement agency who have graduated from ONE of the following Law Enforcement Executive Development courses:
• Criminal Justice Executive Development Institute (EDI)
• FBI National Academy
• Northwestern University School of Police Staff & Command
• Southern Police Institute
• University of Wisconsin Certified Public Managers Program (CPM)
• IACP Leadership in Police Organizations (LPO)
• Wisconsin Law Enforcement Command College
Any other certified Executive Development Institute pertaining to the management of Law Enforcement THAT IS APPROVED by the Board of Directors.
Membership costs just $25/year.
Members are encouraged to attend the annual Board of Directors meeting held during the annual training conference. At that meeting, the Board will elect new members to fill any board vacancies. The Board of Directors schedules and plans the conference for the following year and maintains records of all organization history.
